Synopsis

This is a 6-minute exposé into the relationship between an underachieving actor and a successful lawyer. Using the thematic relations of their careers as a catalyst that influences the turnout of their relationship, this short film brings to focus the fragility and volatility of a relationship through the eyes of an actor. Both characters come to a realisation of where their relationship is headed at different points of the day; revealing that the subtle cracks forming at the pillars are significant compromises to a strong foundation. Stylistically segmented in two portions, the fluidity and movement build up urgency in the first half, allowing for the stillness to punctuate the emotional weight of the revelation in the second half.
